New single 'Lullaby' recorded in aid of Cots for Tots Appeal - part of the family of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal - the Bristol Folk Festival's chosen charity

The organisers of Bristol’s Folk Festival have named the £1 million Cots for Tots appeal as their chosen charity and will be raising money for the St Michael’s Hospital appeal throughout the three day festival next May and in the months leading up to it. They began by recording a single which will be sold in aid of the appeal launched to raise money to expand the babies’ intensive care unit. It will mean up to 150 extra babies can be cared at the St Michael’s unit every year. The song, called Lullaby, has been written by local musicians Bashema and Trish Brown. They recorded it at St George’s backed by the string quartet of the Bristol Ensemble.
